Hidden Inks Technologies
As an alternative to costly and complex security solutions such as holography, prints provide an efficient solution for printing invisible codes, texts and logos for various security applications.
Special ink under ultraviolet light and glowing a shade of blue when illuminated by a UV lamp, appears when intended.
Intaglio printing
the printing is done from ink that is below the surface of the plate. The design is cut, scratched, or etched into the printing surface or plate, which can be copper, zinc, aluminum, magnesium, plastics, or even coated paper.
Security Hologram
Security holograms act as a visible deterrent to counterfeiting offering exclusive ownership, access and control by the security printer.
Custom Water Mark paper (Multi-Tonal)
An image and/or text created during the paper production process by varying the density of the paper.
This type of watermark consists of lighter and darker sections, with different parts of the spectrum.
Checks Special Inks
Digital numbers are sensitive to the magnetic field and are printed using technology with a special ink recognition line to allow the readability of characters. The printed information can only be read by specific computers.
Reactive inks
heat sensitive and become semi-transparent to reveal a printed message underneath when a temperature change occurs. The most common reactive ink is used to reveal a message by heating it up, normally by rubbing it.
Micro-Text
Microprinting (MP) is the printing of extremely fine details on a document. It’s a security feature that makes it difficult to make fake documents.

Universal Security Printing designed and implemented an advanced auditing and verification system for banking checks in cooperation with the Central Banks. According to Central Bank statistics, fraudulent check activities in 2010 exceeded USD 30 million. In response, in 2011, Universal Security Printing developed a state-of-the-art security printing system for banking checks that meets international standards and incorporates over twenty advanced security features and hidden marks. These checks are produced on high-quality, security-grade paper using non-commercial magnetic inks, and are protected through three levels of security. As a result, the counterfeiting rate dropped to 0% in the local market.
